So today is the start of my new me new life healthy eating and all that jazz and so far I am feeling awesome!! Can tell the difference already!! If you haven't read up on what my challenge to myself is please read here!!!!!
This morning my alarm went off at 6:15 & I had a scroll through my instagram, twitter & pinterest for 15 minutes to wake myself up before I got up to tackle my workout!!!
I did a 15 minute kettle bell workout which I had found on Pinterest which is full body. There are 3 circuits which you are supposed to repeat each one 3 times before you move on to the next (But as I was doing this before work i didnt have the time so i did each circuit once.
The circuits are:
Circuit 1 - CORE (repeat 3 times before moving on to the next circuit)
1 MIN KETTLE BELL SWINGS
50 RUSSIAN TWISTS - 25 TO EACH SIDE
25 STANDING SIDE BENDS - EACH SIDE
Circuit 2 - LOWER BODY (repeat 3 times before moving on to the next circuit)
1 MIN KETTLE BELL SWINGS
20 GOBLET SQUATS
20 FIGURE 8 SIDE LUNGES - EACH SIDE
Circuit 3 - UPPER BODY (repeat 3 times before moving on to the next circuit)
1 MIN KETTLE BELL SWINGS
15 CLEAN & PRESS - EACH SIDE
15 MINI GET UPS - EACH SIDE
I then went to go make some breakfast which I had porridge and a black coffee (to wake me up!)
Had a shower & got ready for work and set off!
Mid morning I was starving and ended up getting a cheeky sausage roll from the van.... (NAUGHTY AIMEE!!!) But like I keep saying if you eat in moderation & put the effort into exercise then you cant feel too guilty!
For dinner/lunch (Depending on where you come from) I had a chorizo/salami salad with a nice honey mustard dressing.
Ive been drinking water & cranberry green tea all day to keep the body hydrated & my metabolism working over drive!!
For dinner/tea im not sure what Im going to have when I get in, maybe some chicken pasta!? I may even throw in another workout If I still feel up to it!! :)
How are you guys keeping fit on the run up to the warm weather?? Got any tips for me??
Lots of Love A xxxx
